Packard Bell Fast Media remote

Do you have the SFH-56 plugin set to "DCD" Input Signal type? (I just did a forum search on Packard Bell Fast Media)
Also, you didn't load any othe Packard Bell drivers into the system, right?

Just can't get it working. Checked the FAQ. Tried the "getting started" guide in Help. I believe I'm making my mistake with Hardware Plugins selection in the settings. I couldn't get a reaction from any of the included plugins with Girder v3.2 or v3.1, and still no luck with the "Generic serial based IR receiver" or "Igor SFH-56 device" plugins. I made sure of the com port. I'm at the point where I hit the "learn event" button, but get no response when I hit buttons on the remote. I have not seen Girder respond to the remote a single time.

Any ideas?
