View Full Version : Leadtek WinFast Plugin suddenly stopped working

I've been using Girder 3.20 with my Leadtek WinFast 2000 XP and the updated plugin with no problems for a few days.

Today I loaded Girder and the plugin displayed a message box informing me that I didn't have any BT hardware.

Things I've tried...
- checked there was nothing else using BT remote at the same time
- Tried the LeadTek radio app which directly supports remote - works fine
- Reinstalled the WDM drivers
- No exclamation marks in the device tree

Strange, I can't think what I've done to cause this. Maybe something confusing the hardware detection code?

Any ideas?

bump

Still got the issue, just can't work it out.

re-install seems like an overkill if it's probably just going to happen again.

fixed it...

(can only speak for XP on this)

if you get this issue run regedit and search for "dTVdrvNT"

Inspect the path in the related key and verify that "dTVdrvNT.sys" is actually loacted there

Either correct the path to the new location of the file or move the file to where the path points

I needed to manually start the service which I did from device manager, showing hidden devices & look in "non plug and play drivers"
