Which upgrade path is cleaner? G4--->G5 (Final) or G5 beta---> G5 (Final)

For purposes of not creating multiple Girder program directories and registry entries, I'd like to know what the cleanest and least problematic upgrade will be to the final version of G5 when it's out. I ultimately dont want to end up with multiple Girder directories.

If I install Girder 5 beta, I would not using it for testing, but actual real use. I would like to have a clean transition without leaving any remnants of the older version behind (as if I installed Girder 5 final from scratch on a clean machine).

Since no apparent discount for Beta users ....

Online store has same price for G4 and G5, at least today.

Perhaps I'm looking in wrong place.

Have not yet installed 521 Beta.
