I was wondering if anyone else experienced this.

I am using Girder to receive remote commands and send to SageTV. With the latest Sage (6.2.4) software they updated the version of AC3filter (1.3 I think) they put in it and it causing me issues with girder.

Anyways I can navigate in Sage no problem until I start to watch a recording, when I do girder either doesn't receive or doesn't send commands anymore. So I plug in my keyboard (media pc normally without keyboard) and stop the video and then if I had pressed any remote keys during the video playback girder starts sending them all and I once again have remote control of the system until I start playback of a recording again.

I'm pretty sure its the AC3 since if I take my old sage (6.1.8) and put the ac3filter from 6.2.4 I get the same issue until I revert back to the old ac3filter.

Any ideas what I should do? Is there something I need to configure/change in girder? I could run the new sage with the old ac3filter (i think) but it would be nice to use a newer version since the one that ships with sage prior to this is like 2+ years old.

Sounds like a targetting issue. Check the target settings on the actions that you are trying to use. They might be referencing to a window that is no longer around.

I don't think its a target issue since if I take my current setup (sage 6.1.8) and just change the ac3filter to the new version girder appears to buffer my commands while video is playing (only when playing a sage recording, not when I play dvd from hard drive) and then once I stop the video playback using a keyboard girder spits any remote commands I tried to using during playback.

Hmm, that might be tricky, it sounds as though that app is not processing it's window messages, and that is the way that one communicates with another application. Try unchecking 'force keys' or 'alt key proc' depending on the action used. Or try checking 'match foreground task' in the window picker.

This sounds EXACTLY like my TTS issue. While playing video I will not get any TTS prompts, but then once I stop they all happen one after the other. The strange thing is, is that it doesn't consistently happen. Originally I thought Mediabridge was at fault. I'm not sure if it's only the TTS that is blocked and buffered but I will be sure to pay more attention to what else is going on.
