Now I have a source for reasonably priced touch screens I'm thinking of putting together one of those via mini-itx pc's to run NR on. Gonna be a cool little project I'm thinking.

What are the minimum requirements for NR...

From the Promixis homepage :-

NetRemote runs on most Pocket PC 2002 and 2003 devices using the Microsoft Windows Mobile OS and Regular Windows machines (Including 98, ME, 2000, XP, 2003). This includes popular handheld devices such as the HP iPaq and Dell Axim lines.

I think that the 98 and ME still applies, but I'm not entirely sure.

I looked and missed that. heh

I wonder how WinXP/NR will run on on this...

... add the monitor with touch screen and it should be awesome.

Edit: I thought I would give them a ring tomorrow and looked up their phone number... DING... turn out they are in the same town as me heh. Talk about coincidence.

Tim... You are the bearer of good news once more... Looks like I know what my wall panel will be running on then.

I was amazed to find that some of these boards support component video out up to 1080i HDTV... yet only draw a miniscule amount of power compared to normal desktops.

It just doesn't seem feasible. :)
