Hi everybody!

Couple a days ago I downloaded both netremote and girder and after some problems it now works!

The thing is just that I want to add a few more girder functions, other than the weather and keyboard, to be controlled by the PDA, for exampel turn off the computer or stuff like that. If it's possible I would also like have those functions integreated in yhe netremote menus.

And please don't tell me to read the users guide becuse I have and it only got me even more confused becuse they didn't say anything about PDA:s :P

Hope you can help me guys!

Dear Daniel,

download the NetRemote-Designer as well. With this tool you can create/modify the ccf-files used by NetRemote.

Start by reading the NetRemote Helpfile, it will give you a good introduction.

In NR-Designer you can add a lot of functions, creating your own screen-layout with lots of possibilites. However, the basic concept is to create functions in Girder and then link to them in the ccf-file. The link is done in NR-Designer.

You can create a button, tell NR designer to make the button a Girder command, then in Girder you create you macro or action, attach an event, then edit the event. For the first drop-down item choose "Raw: Communication Server" and then enter the name that you gave NR designer. Alternately, you could save your CCF and press the button, then click and drag the resulting event from Girder's log to your action.
