I'm setting up a new computer to replace an older one in my home theater so I'm using all the same scripts, etc. with Girder. I can assign my serial scripts to com ports and have everything operate ok but when I exit and then restart Girder I get "Serial Could not open YamahaRX on comport 1 error -103" in the log and YamahaRX is not assigned in the Serial tab. If I then do a "Reset LUA Scripting Engine" everything is ok. Any ideas?

Thanks for your help. That thread did indeed lead me to the problem. It was the Snapstream Firefly plugin that I was using to avoid redoing everything to work with the Generic X10 Remote plugin and maps. It was working fine on my old system but apparently timing or something was different enough on the new system that it failed. It's a lot of work to convert over so as to use the X10-Remotes.dll, but at least I have a solution.
