Newbee can't setup remote (PCTV Analog USB)

I have a remote fro Pinnacle, but up to now I have not been able to make it work with Grinder.

I not even sure if grinder can see the remote from Pinnacle. Using the remote test from pinnacle I can see that it works.

Pinnacle is so limited in functionality, I found Grinder would be great enhancement.

If I can make it work I'm sure i will buy the full version.

Is the Pinnacle remote compatible with MediaCenter remotes, or does it use its own IR codes?

You got me there, I don't know, how can I find out?

I can select the remote in pinacle media center, if that was your question.

I surfed the Pinnacle page, and it looks like the PCTV remote has its own receiver, which I suspect means that it has its own USB drivers and probably its own set of IR codes. I'm not sure if the PCTV receiver is supported by Girder or not... I suspect not, but perhaps someone else can chime in. You could presumably learn the IR codes using a supported IR receiver, like the USB-UIRT.
