Grunt and com ports

Hi all,

I've built a new system with a matrix orbital display.
I want lcdc and Girder to load at boot.

If I use grunt started at boot LCDC reports that it can't access the com port the MO is using. After grunt finishes loading I can manually start the screen.
I've tried delaying the load on each but it looks like Grunt will not allow access to any com ports by other progs till it's finished. At start up grunt shows core busy.

If I use regular Girder at boot LCDC and Girder both start at boot and play nice together.

Anyone have any suggestions?

As a workaround could you have Grunt start LCDC?
