How do I link NR to JRMC Views Correctly

I'm REALLY having a problem setting up the link to JRMC. I understand it's the views you have to setup in JRMC but I've tried and failed all darned night.

What I want to do is use the MCE_1024x768 ccf linked to JRMC and work on figuring out how to modify it from there. Unfortunatly my journey of modification stumbled on the first step.

Why is it you try and try and try and try and fail.... then you give up and then walk away only for the solution to pop into your head...

I was naming the views in JRMC like "Media Library\Audio\Album" when all it needed was "Album". I had been looking at THIS THREAD (http://www.promixis.com/forums/showthread.php?t=16976&highlight=jrmc) and had gotten totally confused.

Arrrggghhhhh....

I honestly was all set at one point to say "Sod this program" because the documentation definately fails to help in situations like these. I spent hours scouring through these forums and failed to find a "simple-speak" tutorial.

Oh well... Perhaps I should take a note out of my own book and make tutorials of how I finally do get things working. I'm betting I'm not the only slow-to-grasp NR user out there who have almost given up due to failing to get something to work...

Here's an idea... how about having a "How to..." forum where you can post tutorials on how to do certain things that aren't covered in the help files?

OK here is a simple problem... I want to add another button named Year that lists tracks by year like the Albums button lists Album names.

I've looked at the help files and I've had to cross out "Help" and insert "Confuse Totally".

In the help files it lists MP.Year so I added another view in JRMC that lists date (which is the year in the mp3s) and called it "Year". I thought that would give me the list of years like it shows up in JRMC but it shows nothing at all.

What have I missed here?

I believe JLee has a group by year feature in his .ccf, see if you can get a hold of that one and see how he's done it.
