VAT SUCKS!...
After fighting with NRD and finally winning I decided that I was going to pay for NR Whole Home Pro...I looked and rechecked the price and made sure I had my £77 in the bank... yup... Went to buy the package and WHOA... once again stung by the 17.5% VAT bee. £77 becomes £90. It may not seem much to some but all I get is my disability benefits and £13 just because I live in the UK is a heck of a tax.
Loads of Internet items have penalised the UK this way. I remember playing Eve Online and finding out that players in the US actually pay less (no VAT) and yet the game is run from the UK. At the start of the game we payed no VAT but the EU screamed foul and forced this on us. Where is it that we in the uk get more Value Added from people in the US.
Looks like I'm going to have to save a bit more now or decide just to use a single client. :(
