'server does not appear to be using girder 4 protocol'

Just got a new pda an XDA exec (imate jasjar) with windows mobile 6 installed but I can't seem to get the girder plug in to connect. Mediabridge is ok bt girder says 'the Girder plugin can cnnect to a server, but the server does not appear to be utilizing the girder 4 protocol'
I am using girder 5 any ideas. not sure if this is the right forum but i think its an NR 2 problem. Any ideas?

Try deleting the Girder plugin instance and let autodiscovery find it again.

thx got it.seems it was the ip address issue (I had put a name in)

To use names you will need a freebie prog called "Pocket Hosts"... it allows you to link names to IPs.
