When I was trying to understand NR more I found some cached pages in Google which refered to the PmWiki.

How come that it got closed (there was some good stuff on it)?

Would you believe using the old NR Music and NR Pro docs actually helped me understand the way NR works. For example I couldn't find any reference to things like the "LX" commands in the current help docs and trying to figure out why some of the downloaded panels included commands like this.

I think that's where a lot of my problems come from... trying to learn from outdated panels that use a lot of "undocumented workarounds". If I hadn't found the entries in Google I wouldn't have know. It's just a shame the Internet Wayback machine doesn't remember promixis.org. :(

Cool... It really did help a lot when I was struggling with the current docs that didn't have references to certain commands.

It's basically like a mapmaker who hasn't used old maps of the start of route for a while. The maps get mislaid and then others who are attempting to following his route have trouble right at the beginning of the journey. The old maps are still valid for someone who is starting the journey even if everyone 20 miles further along know the route knows the path already. Once past the missing maps section though things work fine as the current maps are ok.

Does that make sense?
