I had to revert to Girder 4 for now (because of a caller ID problem), and suddenly I get these every time I start G4:

x10manager (2): ...:\Program Files\Promixis\Girder\luascript\Pickle.lua:69: attempt to call a nil value
stack traceback:
...:\Program Files\Promixis\Girder\luascript\Pickle.lua:69: in function `unpickle'
...rogram Files\Promixis\Girder\luascript\girconfig.lua:110: in function `ReadConfigTable'
.\scripts\x10.lua:797: in function `ReadConfigFile'
.\scripts\x10.lua:302: in function `Start'
.\scripts\x10.lua:1676: in main chunk
[C]: in function `LoadPreCompiledScript'
...Files\Promixis\Girder\/plugins/treescript/x10 UI.lua:8: in main chunk

It's not in the X10 as such, because it only dissappears when I deactivate Treescript. Any good ideas as to what I can do about this?

Just to be sure, G4 and G5 are installed in different folders, yes?

Since it's me I understand that you'll have to ask. But the answer's yes. Program Files\Girder and Program Files\Girder5.
