Modal Frame

Not sure if this is the correct term. But this is what I want to do.

In NetRemote when the user presses a button I want to pop up a modal frame with a list of choices.

By Modal I mean the following - The user can only perform actions on the buttons options in the pop-up frame. Once the action has been performed or a time-out is reached - the user can then have control over a NetRemote back.

Is there any "easy" way to do this?
