You really have to tell us what kind of hardware that you are using.

I had the same feeling, but I tried to stay polite ;-) He actually asked again in this thread :

To elaborate on your problem:
iRDA is ify at best. I'm amazed that it works reliably with your other remotes. Obviously it doesn't mesh with your Pronto.
You need a IRMAN/UIR, or just get a new UIRT.

I think he tries to use the IRDA receiver. Don't think that will work, but I don't have a Pronto either. Many people on the avsforum are using it with Girder.

Hi there
Thanks for your answers.
My problem is that with a standar remote control as the one of my TV, VCR it works great but when I am using my pronto, the code received in girder is never the same...
At the begining I was thinking that it could be a speed parameter of my irda hard and plugin but I am not sure now.

Thanks for your help.
It works great with other remotes and also with the pronto now...
It was really a the speed parameter !!! With the pronto I can't keep 4800
I've set my com prt to 600 and it works now.
Sorry for my question here on a Irda plugin not supported.

I am using the pronto with an IrMan receiver and have had great sucess...
There is nothing that you have to do - if your ir receiver is working correctly
