Rick please test Marks OSD Popup too see if the tray bar doesn't popup. This is the 3rd time I ask this question. :(

Okay I checked under win9x and sometimes the traybar pops up.
I tweaked in one thing if this doesn't work then your out of luck. If you close any other window, for example notepad the stupid traybar also pops up. Write to Microsoft about this.

I use the OSD option to deplay volume from my processor and hate the task bar coming up when this happens are any of the other OSD options available that don't do this?
Thanks Rick

There is a 'hack' to get around this. Use girder to hide/show the traybar window. This doesn't affect the operation of windows at all - just make sure you have an event assigned to show it again.
This is the traybar window:
classname=Shell_TrayWnd
executable=explorer.exe
This is the desktop window (icons):
executable=explorer.exe
Child Class=SHELLDLL_DefView
Target either of these with a window hide/show.
This is what I do on my computer. Using my osdmenu I have it setup with a completely clear screen with an application menu on top. Some girder routines make the menu appear/disappear when an application is run/closed.

Are you using Girder's own OSD? I had a similar thing. After the OSD message disappeared, the Girder window would pop up. I guess Girder got the focus. I fixed this by following the OSD command by a set focus command to the main window I was watching at (Zoomplayer in this case). No task bar or other window popping up after using Girder's simple OSD. Hope this helps.
