Just a guess, is there any targetting involved in the action(s) that you do to display the OSD ? If so, the make sure the "match invisible targets" is checked.

The Winamp communication does not involve any spying as such. It uses the Winamp plugin API.
I do not see any difference when Winamp is set to display only in the system tray. It still sends events to Girder just fine.
It is the case that Girder must be running before Winamp starts for communication to be established. If you have both Girder and Winamp set to start with Windows and to go into the system tray, it may be a launch ordering problem.

Hi!
How should I use DVDSpy when Winamp is minimized to tray? Seems like it isn't able to spy on anything or so. Any ideas?

Strange. I just tried it out and it didn't work. I minimize Winamp (stopped) so that it's visible only in system tray area. Then when I press the key from my remote that should display song title and other info I get nothing. I see that Girder icon in tray flashes as it does on every event. If I restore Winamp and try again I get OSD telling me the info it's meant to. It makes no difference if Winamp is playing or stopped. I'm using Girder 3.2 with Winamp 2.80 and Win2KSP2.
