View Full Version : My IR-man makes my computer beep!

Has anybody had problems with a beeping computer when the IR-man plug-in is active? It reacts to both learned and unlearned commands quite randomly by beeping through the computer's internal speaker. Weird, huh? It's especially touchy when I use the mouse pad actively on my IR keyboard.

Been there, done that. Didn't help. :(
What Girder version do you use? I'm on 3.1.3.C right now, but I'll change to 3.2 tomorrow, I think.

Yes, I had the same problem.
Go into the plugin settings and set the speed to "slow".

Sorry, that solved my problem. :(
I solved it before 3.2. Did you try changing COM-port settings in the control panel? Flow-control for example. I'm not sure the plugin reads those settings.
