I assume you are executing events like this:
[girderpath]\girder.exe -eventstring myevent
This only works with 'Girder events' and not any others (eg keyboard, ir etc.)
However, with Girder 3.2 OSDMenu (1.5.1) allows you to execute ANY events of ANY type directly.
See help.txt for more details.
Hope this helps.

In the past, I succeeded in getting an On Screen Menu with a choice to invoke a command in Girder to work. Just adapted the example in the samplemenu.ini file.
New computer, XP Pro, and either I've gone lame in the brain or whatever, but I can't get it to work again. Here's the environment I have:
Girder 3.1 under XP Pro. OSD Menu that came with that download.
I have a Girder command which does a SET FOCUS on the IE class to bring the one copy of IE6 to the foreground of windows.
When invoked manually via the mouse/menu, my Girder command to SET FOCUS works fine.
When done from OnScreen menu: Girder displays in the bottom of the Girder window the event string I coded in the menu's INI file. It is the same text as I put in the event string for the command. I must confess,I don't know if that string belongs only in the Girder command event string box and/or it goes in an "event string" item in the tree under that Girder command. This isn't explained anywhere I can find.
TIA
Steve
