Some things to try:

-Get the lastest version of Girder released today. http://www.girder.nl/downloadn.php

-Get the plugin from here: http://www.girder.nl/downloadn.php?Link=343
I have just tested this one with Girder 3.2 and it works fine.

-Have you used the 3.1 -> 3.2 converter on your GML file yet?

-In Girder 3.2 there is only one plugin directory. Make sure that all of the plugins that you want to use are in the plugins directory, not in separate software and hardware directories.

-Igor's plugin should be listed near the top of the plugins list under the name "Igor SFH-56 device"

Thats all I can think of right now. Good Luck!

Ok, try this:

1. Close Girder if it is open
2. Move Igor SFH-56 plugin to another directory temporarily.
3. Start Girder.
4. Go to the Girder settings plugin page and turn off auto-enable device.
5. Close Girder.
6. Copy Igor SFH-56 plugin back to the Girder plugins directory.
7. Start Girder again.
8. Go to the Girder setting plugin page again.
9. Re-enable auto-enable device.
10. Check the box next to Igor SFH-56 Device to enable it.
11. Click apply.
12. Click on Igor SFH-56 Device to select it (don't disable it).
13. Click on the settings button to the left.
14. Make sure that you have the right COM port selected.
15. Set input signal to DCD.
16. Click the Advanced button and set the priority level to 6 or 7.
17. Click OK and OK again.
18. Restart Girder and all should be working again.

Good luck!

Have you run your gml file through the 3.1 to 3.2 converter (http://www.girder.nl/downloadn.php?Link=308)? This might fix it so that you don't have to re-learn all the commands. It could also be that your commands are looking for the MouseAccel plugin which isn't there.

The MouseAccel plugin has not been updated for Girder 3.2. Girder now has mouse acceleration for Girder's built-in mouse movement functions though. You can set it up through the mouse directions under the mouse tab in Girder.

Only the plugins that are listed on *this* (http://www.girder.nl/downloadn.php) page will work with Girder 3.2.

I'm not sure why the plugin settings window was smaller than usual. I haven't seen that problem before.

I had Girder running perfectly up until a few hours ago. I had version 3.1, Packard Bell remote with SFH56 plugin all running under Windows XP Pro.

I decided to upgrade to Girder 3.2 Beta 16, and since then, Girder will not show the SFH56 plug in in the Plug in list box.
Consequently, my remote is no longer detected.

I have been playing around with this for hours. Uninstalling, reinstalling etc. I went to Igors website and got his most current dll, but it still doesnt help.

Can anyone help me?
:-?

I downloaded the new software and drivers, and now the software finds the plug in.

The new problem though is that when Girder starts, I get the splash screen and then a message box pops up from SFH56 saying
Warning: There may be a hardware problem in receiver. It has Retry and Cancel buttons. No matter how many times I retry, it doesnt start.
When I click Cancel, Girder terminates.

So I am still no closer to get it working again, and now I cant even get into Girder to adjust any settings.

I dont beleive there is any problem with my hardware as it was working fine until I upgraded the software. Does anyone know of a utility that works outside of Girder that I can confirm the signals are coming through?

:D

The errors have disappeared.
Seems to be functioning ok, but looks like I will have to get the program to re-learn everything.
When I push the direction buttons, Girders lights flash, but nothing happens. Is the MouseAccel plug in still valid. I dont see it in the download list now. It used to work fine

I will work on this

Thanks for your help.

BTW .There still seem to be some minor display issues. when I clcik on the Settings button for the SFH56 plug in, he window is too small to display all the setting and only half displays the buttons. I couldnt drag to resize them, even though the cursor changed to the resize cursors.

Minor problem.
