Girder 3.2 doesn't use the [girderdir]/plugins/hardware subdir. Just put the DVDspy.dll with all the other plugins in the [girderdir]/plugins
Make sure that you downloaded the correct DVDSpy from the download page, and that you followed the exact installation procedure. If the problems are still there tell us what the errors are.

Hello all. I'm trying to set up DVDSpy to use with Winamp 2.8, but I can't get it to show up in the list of plugins under File -> Settings -> Plugins. I've followed along with the help file, so I've put the following files in the correct places:
DVDSpy.dll under C:\Program Files\girder32\Plugins\Hardware\
DisplaySpyHook.dll in C:\Program Files\girder32\
gen_DVDSpy.dll in C:\Program Files\Winamp\Plugins\
The plugin works fine in Winamp, but I can't get it to show up in Girder. I've tried restarting Girder several times, and I've also tried putting DVDSpy.dll under the main Plugins directory (rather than Plugins\Hardware). But that just gave me a bunch of errors when starting Girder.
I would appreciate any help. Thanks.

I just downloaded DVDSpy again and set it all up again, and everything works fine now. I'm not sure what I did (I know I downloaded the correct version the first time - 1.2.6 - because I checked the date). Anyway, everything is working great now.
Thanks.
