Not a bug, just don't use girder 3.1 and 3.2, choose one of them. If you want to get Girder 3.1 back, open regedit and delete subkey

[HKLM]/software/girder3

About the plugin, I think it is keyselector. Since I don't have the source to that I cannot update it.

Hi,

I recently upgraded Girder from version 3.0x to 3.1, and it went witout any problems. then I downloaded beta 16, and I had nothing but problems :)

First of all, when I had 3.0 and installed 3.1, I could use both girder versions. After installing 3.2, 3.1 simply refuses to work. It popups alert telling me "Invalid data type for 'autoenable'". and remains in memory, but no icon is visible in system tray. When I try to "kill" it with ctrl+alt+del it crashes with "access violation at 004031bb in module girder.exe read of address ffffffff.

I used to use a plugin to type characters from my remote (similary as from the mobile phone) whose name I can't remember, and I can't check, because (as stated above) 3.1 refuses to work :) could anyone tell me what is the name of the plugin to type the characters (press key once it types a, press once more it overtypes b, etc.)??

I tried guessing, and downloaded "Keyboard driver" (dev nr 124, ver 2.1 by mario ivankovits) thinking it might be it. It seems the problems started then - because I just installed all of plugins, etc at once. I couln't tell what was causing the problems, but I seem to pinpoint it to this plugin. The moment I enable it, it crashes the 1st appplication I use, most often the shell. :(

I have the following other plugins active: keyboard, OSDmenu, and Irman.

did anyone experience similar behaviour?

and what could be causeing the problems to "old" version of girder? there are no registry entries associated to girder except file asociations in registry, so if the 2 versions remain in separate folders I can't see why they both wouldn't work (not at the same time ofcourse).

Thanx for your help,
Dalibor

P.s. i just noticed 3.20 released, i'll tyr downloading to see if it solvers this problem
