Hi everybody,

first of all, great work!!! I am already using girder, mainly to remote-control dscaler. I built a UIRT from Ruud's schematic to enable girder to remote-control my stereo-equipment and video-projector. I can neither program it with Ruuds software nor with Daniel Pticar's when it is set to program/verify. When I set it to "program" only, it works fine. It is now programmed with "UIRTdp121.10mhz.hex" I am using a 10mHz PIC. It receives beautifully. But how, and that is the question I am posting for, do I get girder to send a specific command whith the UIRT? I have searched the forum for a long time, but all posts concerning this end on "depends on what kind of device you have..." Reading the faq did not help either. I would appreciate your help.

HI
Try using schematics Shematic-2-pcb from my page. Its realy strange that you can only program without verify because verify is done while programing and not afther. Check CTS line, maby its not conected !!!!

Make a new command
Goto the the action plugin for the UIRT ,(you should enable it if you haven't)
There you can learn the code that will be transmitted.(it might need some tuning to work)
When you execute the action in Girder the UIRT will transmit that code.
If you mean specific as in user defined, I don't think it can be done.

Thank you for the fast reply,

that is how I tried it and it did't work. Now I am sure it is a hardware-issue.

Frankbatzen.

Hello Danijel,

the error message I get with your programmer version 1.3 is: ERROR programming at 0x0000 with no blue progress-bar showing.
Do you maybe have an idea on a related issue in another thread I started? It is http://www.girder.nl/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=1871
Thanks in advance,
