netremote have been implemented refer to ccf file.
because seem understand ccf is come from philips; does they change at each new model ccf specification and prontoedit software ?
is problem of recording ir into different format is resolve by a promixis ir capture tool ?
because promixis must follow ccf file is there a compatibility table that show all ir code format and ccf file compatible with netremote ?
thank's for every links and good ( update) documention .

It is certainly true that NetRemote started of using the Philips Pronto CCF format, however our version of the format has changed considerably over the years - certainly for NetRemote 2 the only recommended design tool is NetRemote Designer.

There is no guarantee that any changes that Philips may make to the CCF format will be compatible with NetRemote (however I am not aware that Philips have made any changes to CCF files in recent years - they developed the new PCF format which is partially compatible with NRD and this may well still be evolving).

the new pronto and older version seem to use pcf and xcf file.
if format is really different nowodays compare to the primary ccf file ; it would be nice that promixis create is own format and add in his menu tool a way to import concurent file remote ( like ccf pcf or xcf file format of philisps). i say that when thinking about openoffice tool even one of the developper have work for microsoft ; it is why there is so many office file format support in the office world. nowodays there is not so many file format for remote compare to office files extension !!!.
when use a software i like to know import /export capacity of software and so like to be able to re use work make by other ( ccf find in http://www.remotecentral.com/). Follow this i like automate some task so like/"love" and read object model ( object function variable) in SDK API but find nothing.
don't know what think advance user about it but i ll be nice if their share their experience about what i say. i look around me about : new remote offer database of remote.
now :
does promixis offer a way to import easely many "ccf" ( functionnality and gui) of commercial remote ? ( take example of what is supported concurrent format (http://www.manifold.net/info/formats.shtml)
is their API is well accessible and documented ? ( take example at manifold GIS user manual (http://www.manifold.net/doc/manifold.htm))
I speak about manifold gis sytem and openoffice system because it what i think we must have when pay a software. i could also speak about mysqlfront (http://www.sql-front.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=3533).
it is not my problem but think promixis tool is on the down side .think the best way you take is to be accessible from http protocol and voice so people ll use internet explorer and web editor ( vector javascript raster)instead remote software designer ( pronto ng .. netr...) to navigate/control their software/device .
all this don't mean girder and netremote is bad , still continue to think flexible technology is hard to learn but gui/support formatsell buy promixis make not easy to reach the aim. Why netremote designer is not bundle with netremote client software ? why netremote designer is not see in the first webpage of promixis website. editor is the most important thing ; see pronto edit NG of philips their webpage speak of it in their webpage .......

NetRemote Designer is free for users of NetRemote (it's not really of much use if you don't have NetRemote :) )

It's not included in the download because it would be a waste of bandwidth to download NRD every time NR is updated.

You can currently load CCF and PCF files from ProntoEdit into NRD - but I don't think that the graphics will be imported from PCF files - although Tim may have fixed that. It's easy enough to extract the graphics since PCF files are actually .ZIP files with an XML for the CCF and a subdirectory for the graphics.

As far as I know we have no plans to support XCF files.
