This is not a crucial file, but you do loose a popup functionality. This can be replaced by the "question" command from the girder tab. However what Girder version are you running when this happend ?

btw,.. it looks as though you filled in the incorrect email address, the board tried to send you an email but it bounced. Please check it.

Hmm, it could be that your MFC is to old... You could try to download the correct versions mfc42.dll or something like that. If Mark is around he knows more about that then I do.

What version of Windows are you using? In c:windowssystem what is the date and time stamp on the file named "MFC42.dll"?

Ron - Maybe I should send you the MFC I develop with so it can be on the same page as the speech pack stuff here (http://hyperion.spaceports.com/~girder/)?

I was getting an error message on Girder startup that Girder could not load PopUp.dll. I deleted the PopUp.dll file and it fixed it, but what I want to know is..

Is this file important? What does it do? Just curious.. thanks

I am running the latest Girder version you have posted on the page.. Can't remember the version right now.. the one under your downloads section.

Fixed the email addy, I entered a cross between my two email addresses.. must have been late.. :)
