Why not try it yourself ? It was never intended as an extended Popup,... but if you look at the developers section you'll see that unimatrix offered his help to create a new OSD. If you are a programmer maybe you could join forces and create something great!

Having a professional looking OSD is very important to me. I am very pleased with Airboard Manager's OSD display.
From what I heard Girder's OSD is just a very large windows without a title bar and it isn't a true overlay image as nice as Airboard Manager.
Is this true?
Is it possible to ask to have it look nicer? At least as nice as Airboard Manager. On Airboard manager, I can use the volume keys on the keyboard, and the OSD looks very similar to a TV set's OSD.
How long would it take for something like this to be implemented?

I wish I was a programmer. I will have to sit back and wait. My request looks popular enough for someone to eventually add a very nice looking OSD plugin and very flexible.
