Hello, guys.

Does anybody know, is it possible to use TEKRAM USB IrDA Adapter (IR-400W)
http://www.tekram.com/product2/product_detail.asp?pid=27
with Ginder 5?
I've bought one and I can't attach new remote control. When Grinder asks me to push the button on the remote control for recognition, sometimes Grinder recognise button, sometimes not. And if I passed to the new step, when I have to learn Ginder the buttons on my remote, absolutely nothing is working. It's better to say, It's like Ginder didn't see the remote control.
I've even tryed the same thing on my Toshiba M35 Laptop with SMC IrCC - Fast Infrared Port (IR module: HP) and in the end result is the same.
Help me please with your advice...

Best regards.

IrDA device generally don't work for this - they are intended for communication between PCs and mobile devices rather than for remote controls.

Thank you very much. The only thing I can do is to construct Ir-Module with com-port or to buy iRlink (But it costs about 65$).
