Hi! I'm an Spanish person and I'm going to learn how girder and Lua works because I want to make an application.

First excuse me my bad English.

The application that I want to do is some PDA screens that shows me for example which lights are turned on and which are off, I think in two icons of a bulb (lit and not lit) ok? so this is the CCF side (I think is net remote designer possible).
The screen will obtain the status of the lights querying by RS232 a command or a series of commands for each light.
Well! the next is, if I click one icon (the bulb) I want girder to send an RS232 command by the same port.

I sucessfully did the first girder video tutorial which consists on an screen with a button and execute notepad.exe :) so I changed it to fire a serial command, but I have problems at the time of doing lua plugin for this serial device... Any aid will be welcome.

then.. It's very difficult to do all this? It's possible to do this?
by where I begin?

I hope that you have understood well my message and excuse me by the brick

Thank you very much
