Hibernation under windows XP

Not sure about Xp, but Power Management, under the O.S. tab, puts my Windows 98 machine into stand by.

That's pretty cool, but why not just use OSD to ask whether you want to go into hibernation? Then, get the response from the remote in the same way.

i have a small program (.exe file) that can put windows xp in hibernation.
in girder just assign a button to start that program. voila :)

because i don't want to accidently put my pc in hibernation i have set up the .exe to ask confirmation first.
so i have to push another button on my remote which replies the question with Y.
