I have now successfully a Virtual Girder computer running on my server, and everything seems to be quite well. Except for one thing: There's something funky with comserver, especially the preregistering. Removing a preregistering in the componet manager doesn't work at all, I have to do it with a Lua command. And the main server has the address of 192.168.0.1 and the external IP (a second NIC connected to Internet) 192.168.1.4. And no matter what I do, Girder will only connect to the external IP! And that on a Girder that won't even go online (I have no idea why, but it seems that using bridged NIC in VMWare doesn't work correctly, I have to bridge them to the 1.4 NIC to get online)!
