IP client crashing Girder on first command only!

I have a ip cleint command that only causes a crash the first time it runs if I start Girder and run it using test command the connection is started ok and from then on in it works fine.

I am running 3.2.2 on the cleint under ME and 3.2.2 on the server under XP Pro.

So each time I start Girdr I have to run test command on any ip client command to startup a connection then it's ok 100% till next boot or Girder restart.

The error is kernel32.ddl error closing girder.

I originally thought it was the serial plugin but I can see it fail on this command in any one of two multigroups. And as I say using test command solves it.
