Maybe you would like to specify this... while using taskinfo2000 I found these readings:

Cat. | Girder | Winword |[br]----------+--------+---------+[br]InMemKB | 2.788 | 11.704 |[br]TotalKB | 27.348 | 80.952 |[br]PrivateKB | 804 | 7.732 |[br]User Objs | 91 | 33 |[br]GDI Objs | 79 | 138 |[br]Handles | 33 | 134 |[br]----------+--------+---------+[br]

These clearly suggest that girder uses less system resources then Word.

Just noticed that girder uses 8% of my User resources! Which is quite a bit considering something like word2000 uses 2-3% Is this the sort of number other people using ME/9x get?
Is there anything that could be done about this? (yes I know its not a problem in w2k (-; )
I only ask because I seem to be frequently running out at the moment.

Does anyone know of a way of finding out what is using all the user resources short of unloading everything one bit at a time?

Cheers,

Mike.

Hi Ron,

Don't get me wrong, I'm not complaining
Girder is a small program I know, but notice that it uses nearly three times the ammount of user object. And its user resources that im running out of, everything else is fine.

I was just wondering why this was the case, is it an inherant feature of this kind of program? or is there a way of getting round it?
