Looks like I jumped the gun. The service I'd used before was "ExpressPCB", not the folks at the link you provided. Sorry!

Ok, I'll bite. I've used the services of PCBExpress on several occaisions and they have been excellent. The boards are great, and the speed was amazing. The parts I had made were for DSS 'testing' and so they were done without any labeling, but otherwise they are highly recommended.

Hope this answers you questions. (if you do go that route, could you post the board files for us if others wish to have them made?)

Slightly off-topic...

I'm wondering what software people use to do PCB layout (those of you who do that sort of thing). I'm looking to get into that area and was looking for something (preferably free?). It seems whatever software I end up with needs to generate Gerber files (see the next question).

Also, anyone have any good/bad experiences with online PCB makers (e.g., http://www.pcbexpress.com)? Which ones do you like for small quantities (2-4 boards)?

Thanks.

Oh come on. I know some of you must be able to offer some little gem of advice.

Hi
I've been using Eagle for some weeks now and find it very easy to use. Sofar I haven't produced any realworld pcb's but the program
seems able to deliver your schematics and pcb-artwork in the needed formats and is freeware within some limits

Good luck
