Hi all,

Just trying to get the G5 webserver plugin working on port 2020. I've enabled the plugin under plugins, ticked enabled and set port to 2020 under the webserver tab and set the root patch to C:\Program Files\Promixis\Girder5\httpd. Now when applying (and also when launching G5) I get the following:

Time Date Source Details Payloads
08:34:43:734 9/24/2008 WebServer Webserver Started.
08:34:43:734 9/24/2008 WebServer Cannot start webserver on address 127.0.0.1 on port: 80
08:34:43:734 9/24/2008 WebServer Cannot start webserver on address 192.168.0.10 on port: 80
08:34:43:734 9/24/2008 WebServer Cannot start webserver on address 192.168.1.1 on port: 80
08:34:43:734 9/24/2008 WebServer Cannot start webserver on address 192.168.190.1 on port: 80
08:34:43:734 9/24/2008 WebServer Webserver Starting...
08:34:43:734 9/24/2008 WebServer Webserver Stopped.
08:34:43:734 9/24/2008 WebServer Webserver Stopping.

The IP of my server is 192.168.0.10, so not sure where these other IP and por references are coming from (192.168.1.1 and 192.168.190.1) and as you can see the port is still 80 even though 2020 is set in options.

Needless to say the site doesn't load :) Any thoughts?

Cheers

What version of Girder are you running? Download the latest from here:
http://promixis.com/forums/showthread.php?t=15194

The webserver starts a server for each IP address that you computer has. It appears that you have 2 network cards in your PC (or maybe a virtual card for a Virtual Machine). The 127.0.0.1 is the localhost address.

Thanks Rob,

Thought I was running latest from G5 goes gold thread - just installed it last night :) but turns out I'm running quite an old version it would appear 5.0.2.536.

Ahh, well that explains the other strange IP's as I'm running VMWare Workstation (but all their IP's are in the same range as the server - i.e. 192.168.0..) so that may still not explain things. And the port is definitely set to 2020 so I'll try latest.

Cheers
