Weather and Receiver not working - Axim x51v and 2.0.13.136

Hi all,

Since upgrading to 2.0.13.136 last night my Axim x51v no longer displays my Denon receiver DM page (stolen from Promixis Flatstyle ccf) or the Weather page (also stolen and shrunk down from Flatstyle).

In the past when I've had issues, it has normally been cause by a first launch of NR where something hasn't loaded correctly at startup. By going to Tools and opening the same ccf again all used to come right again, but not anymore.

Any ideas/suggestions to try? Or any advice on where I can find the older NR version to go back to (as I've since deleted the files).

Oh, forgot to mention, all commands etc in my buttons seem to work fine through to Girder for the receiver so not too sure what's going on as Girder comms. appear fine.

Does it work okay on win32?

Take a look for NetRemote.log on the Axim - there may be an error message in there.

Yea, works fine on windows.

Doesn't appear to be anything too substantial in the log. This is a fresh log from boot, straight into the weather page not displaying anything then back and into the Receiver page - nothing showing.

And if you compare that log to what you see in NRD's Lua console when you run it on Win32? Any obvious differences?

It may also be worth adding a few print() calls in the .lua file to see how far it gets.

hmm, looks very different. Sent ccf to NR, browse to weather page all working, then back to activities page and into amp page - all working. I might try the print code tomorrow - got to sleep as this is doing my head in ;)

Hi Rob,

Managed to get it working this morning by forcing a static IP, Subnet, Gateway and DNS servers on the Axim wireless network interface. It would appear it's something to do with the config on my router sorry - but no idea why it used to work ok until this NR change. Also strange that all commands through to girder and Media Bridge worked fine also, just no DM pages working?

There have been no changes to the networking code in NR for quite some time, so I'm a bit stumped too. Glad you've got it working though.
