Most TVtuner cards are not really suited for remote reception because of limitations of the drivers. Usually you cannot watch TV and use the remote at the same time. Best thing is to get a dedicated receiver for the remote.

I wonder if anyone can recommend a good girder-compatible card in the $90 - $100 (900-1000 SEK) pricerange.
