Please don't go this way,.. I want to have the freedom to change the registry format. Also this means breaking all pop ups in girder. Cause they don't re-read the settings all the time. The next girder version will have a feature that allows you to change the font size position and stuff through GVMS. ( As per TODO.txt ) This also means that plugin immediately see this change when they query the OSD settings through the API.

The OSD Popup plugin uses the current font setting from the OSD Settings page. I don't think this can be changed by a Girder command.
The "Transparent" check box is for the text background. The text is either drawn with the background color or no color (transparent) as the background. There is always a background (either a color or bitmap) so the OSD, itself, is not transparent, only the text background.
Multi-monitor works on the single system I have to test it on. It appears to work on a couple of others that people are using it on. Which Windows OS are you using?

I won't be enhancing the OSD Popup Plugin anytime soon. The source is available on the Girder developer page if anyone would like to change any of the behaviors or add new function.
I thought clone mode was the exact same desktop on both monitors. If so, I'm confused about what you are asking or saying.
Sorry. It must be this heat. ;)

I think I'm understanding better. :)
You have a single, large desktop that is spread across the TV and monitor. You would like the same OSD message to be present on both the monitor and the TV. Is this correct?
Right now, multi-monitor support in the OSD Popup is supposed to allow you to choose the monitor OR TV as the destination of the message. If the multi-monitor section is grayed out, that means your OS is not reporting that it supports multiple monitors OR that the OS is reporting that it only has one monitor attached.

Mark all you say is rigth but I think you don't fully understand Deep's problem. :) no offence
He is using "theater mode" in which the overlay surface (the video window) and only it is shown fullscreen on TV. When there is no overlay the desktop is shown.
Deep: In "theater mode" while watching movies there is no way to popup s.th. on the TV. You have to use a real multi-monitor mode (extend your desktop to the TV) or disable "theater mode" to be able to display Popup windows on your TV. But then comes the problem that the ATI cards have - they can't support overlay surfaces on both Monitor and TV. All thay can is one overlay surface at the same time. So in Clone mode (without Thater mode) your video window will be black on the TV. In the Extended Desctop Mode you can watch movies on your TV while working on your PC Monitor but you have to use a player that has a multi-monitor support.
For DivX I can recomend you BSPlayer
For DVDs - WinDVD has multi-monitor support (all you have to do is drag the video window to the second monitor (TV) and make it fullscreen)
I hope I helpped you

About the Text Size problem
I got an idea but when I tested it didn't work. With some help from Mark or Ron I think it could be done
I found where in the Registry the FontSize is written. So you can use the RegSetValue plugin to change the value. Then the plugins can read this value before they popup. I know that will slow them down a little but can't think of anything else

Yes, that's the good way to do it. I offered my idea only as a temporary solution.

I have some problems with the popupOSD plugin :
1 - Is it possible to get different text size for each command?
2 - "transparent" doesn't works, i have a black backround
3 - "Multi Monitor" doesn't works. My graphic card is ATI 8500 and vga and tv are connected.
Thank You.

Thank you Mitko, for theatre mode, you have understood.
About test size, i suppose the key is : HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\girder3\FontSize but it is a "REG_DWORD" key and when i want to change with regsetvalue, it is changed to "REG_SZ" type and doesnt work. I have tried in vlue : 24 and 0x00000020 (32) but no succes.
Any idea? if no, i'll wait the next girder version.
Thanks again.
