It is quite easy: basically you put a value into the volume up and volume down setting.
Basically the standard volume goes up and down 1% when you put (+655) or (-655) (not shure the exact value) but to help you can check into this link

Hope it helps.

What have you done so far?
You tried some things?
have you tried entering specific values?
basically the volume is like 0 to 65535 so raising the volume by 1 is quite useless... the main idea is to crank up by more, something like 1%. 1% of 65535 is (do the math) 655.35 (rounded down to 655) so on raise volume, add the value +655 nad -655 to raise by 1%.
just REMOVE the anti-repeat delay, you actually want to auto-repeat, the setting I'm talking about is the VOLUME CHANGE setting.
If this doesn't work, I need more info to help: I don't think it is remote specific but more girder config you missed.

It is not with the auto repeat... it is a *seting* of the volume.
look at http://www.girder.nl/images/main.png
(sorry I didn't find a better image... but it'l give you an idea)
you see the "anti repeat" on top right. leave this to 0, it have NOTHING to do with your problem. in fact, raising this will slow down the process, as several key press will be ignored due to time delay needed between sucessive keypress of the same kind.
then there is the VOLUME...
the "command" must be volume setting, and
**
place the value in the WPARAM field
**
+655 for up 1%
-655 for down 1%.
do you get it?
it was already included in the example given earlier
http://www.girder.nl/download.php?Link=277
you just need to take off the unwanted lines.
hope this helps.

:-? Hi all!
How can i speed up the adjustment of the volume
control (especially in MD8.x) ? It just works very stuttering and slow at
various anti-repeat(ms) settings.
Is there any way to improve that.... or is it limited to the repetition of the signal
which is received by the remote control? thx.

I forgot to mention that Iīm using the Igor SFH56-device plugin.
Anybody else got an idea? What are the best settings for the serial port (Bits per sec, parity....and all that) ???

Where do i change these specific values? I changed the auto repeat back to 0 earlier. It doesnīt seem to make any difference, just on high settings above 50 or so it obviously slows down
Apart from that i changed all settings which appeared to make sence to me. Iīm experiencing this problem with the specific multidec volume adjustment which is targeted by the keyboard +/- on the numpad. If i press and hold -/+ on the keypad the volume-level changes fast and smooth. Can i change those values on keyboard targets as well? How am i doing this?
The gml linked earlier didnīt do a difference...
Win XP, serial receiver and one4all remote.
Anything else you need to know?
