Welcome to Girder!
The file you need appears to be on this (http://www.girder.nl/serial.php) page. The file in the .zip file needs to be imported into the serial port plugin found here (http://www.girder.nl/downloadn.php?Link=297).
I hope this helps. :)

Eventstrings are used for associating input (IR signals) with commands in Girder. To get the imported group to work, find an eventstring then click the learn button and press a button on your remote. The button that you pressed will now be associated with that command in Girder. Repeat this process for all the other commands that you want to use. There is more help available here: http://www.girder.nl/help/index.php.

I have the Turtle Beach RF remote and would like to get it working with Girder. A search in the forums seems that its hit or miss. Apparently someone got it working and exported the needed file, but I am unable to find it on the website.
If someone could post the link it would be appreciated.
Thanks.
Chris

Thanks for the links. I managed to get the remote working. Thats to say it is making the girder taskbar icon light up when I press a key.
However I havent figured out how to get it to control anything....
I managed to import the PowerDVD info file but it doesnt do anthing.
Is there a help file about getting started or can someone give me a quick run down? ( I havent got far fooling around).

Thanks for the help, but this seems like its to much time and effort to get a remote to play dvds.
