Under the log display the events are invisible. I can drag and drop them to actions still but i can't see what I'm dragging and dropping. I've reinstalled a few times and its fixed it a few times temporarily then the problem comes back. Installed on windows vista.

I searched the forums with no luck on finding anything =/

Try View|Reset Windows and Toolbars then restart Girder

Next time this happens, can you take a screen capture of the logger window?

Edit:

But i have some error in Interactive Lua Scripting Error:

LOG: Component Manager : 4 - Transport Manager Unable to read config file Transport Manager.cfg Config File Open Failed
LOG: Component Manager : 4 - UnitSystem Unable to read config file UnitSystem.cfg Config File Open Failed
Welcome to Promixis Girder 5.0.9 build 543
LOG: Component Manager : 4 - ConfigFiles Unable to read config file Config.cfg Config File Open Failed
LOG: Component Manager : 4 - Logging Unable to read config file Logging.cfg Config File Open Failed

What are these errors?

Don't worry about the errors, they just mean that there is no config file and that defaults are being used.

I think I've seen this here - for some reason Girder is forgetting where the logger is supposed to be displayed. Just open the logger window again from the View menu.

I found an fix:

I open girder windows, go to View , click on Logger, logger window appear, i hold the left mouse button on Logger Windows and drag this window to Log Display.

Now events appear in Log Display, screenshot:
