Hi MatB,

I have some thoughts in my head about controlling powerpoint. But I don't get around to in the next few days. If anyone out there with a little experience is interested in making a plugin for this mail me.

It is possible to control Office apps via COM. I've created a little example that shows how to use COM to control PowerPoint. I can send it to you if you like. One thing that you probably have to figure out is how to receive events via COM, I didn't get around to that yet.

I'll take a peek at the COM object of outlook. Yeah that should work via a COM object.

I'd like to use girder to control powerpoint, and i'm lazy (that's why i use girder...). Anybody has written a gir file for it?

I hope this turns out to work well as it opens up other possibilities such as girder knowing when you have email with outlook. Or is there a known way of doing this already?
