Can girder convert keyboard commands or keyboard string into a learned IR output through the USB-UIRT?
I am using a program on the iPhone called snatch that lets you send keyboard commands. I would like to send these keyboard commands to Girder (or some other software?) to the IR receiver for my X-10 system.
Can this be done with relative ease?

That shouldn't be a problem - if you want to test it, just download the trial version and see whether Girder can detect the keyboard input from snatch. If that works then there should be no problem with the rest of it.

Great, its one of those things where you don't want to waste time only to find out the capability is not there.
But sounds good, I think I will give it a shot. Girder seems like a cool program and worth the money.
Curious, can the standard media center HTPC receivers/blaster combos interface with girder? I don't have the USB-UIRT, but I do have the media center setup. It would be best to consolidate things if possible.

It looks like that may have been answered in another post I am reading now. Newbies, gee.
