Just got my UIRT2 from Luc and it's working great, except for the WOL, which i am hoping is just something i'm doing wrong.
My MB supports WOL and i have confirmed that it's working by connecting to my WOL connector on my NIC, putting the machine in standby and pinging it from another machine -- poof... comes out of standby no problem.

I then connected the WOL to the UIRT2, but the machine in standby, and sent an IR code to the UIRT2, but nothing happens... is there something i have to enable to make this work? I thought it would pretty much be the same as the NIC card, if it sees any activity, it takes the computer out of standby, am i mistaken?

TIA,
Jeff

Jeff,

it's not the same, you have to program a IR code in the PIC and it will only wake the PC for that code. It would be annoying if the PC wakes when using normal IR operations.

When you select a UIRT command, choose "PIC config", change the following:
select "gpio b2" , choose "pulse", learn a IR command and press "program flash". It should work now.

Luc.
