I explain the situation, PC with windows 7 professional 64 bits edition.

I created a reg file, when dubbel clicking on it, the entries can be find back in C:\windows\system32\regedt32.exe OK

But when executing the same file through girder (by a test), the entries go to
C:\windows\syswow64\regedt32.exe (the old 32 bits registry)

How to solve such problem, anyone an idea?

Thanks a lot,
Shelbe

Girder is a 32 bit application as such it is bound by the limits that windws set 32 bit applications.

1. You will only have limited control over 64 bit applications
2. You will see the 32 bit version of the registry.
3. The new audio subsystem (introduced in Vista) has removed some of the features that the old system had.
