While I was working on OSDMenu 1.6 I did get this problem at one point. However, when I went to try and debug, it mysteriously fixed itself. So, it is possible that the beta you have has the problem. Please try the latest version:
osdmenu16a.zip (http://homepage.ntlworld.com/graham.wire/osdmenu16a.zip)
Thankyou.

Ah. Sorry I misunderstood your problem. Yes, it does work the way you describe since OSDMenu sees each part of a scrollmenu as a new menu. I will have a think about this one and see if I can implement some keys that work the way you want.

Ok, I use OSD Menu 1.6.0Beta for Girder 3.2.3pre1. I call scrolling menus from a modified version of a normal menu I had that did not fit anymore on the screen, but I used to call the menu items by pressing on numbers (1,2, ... 9) for the (1st, 2nd, ... 9th) item. Now, on the scrolling version, if I scroll and press 1, the 1st DISPLAYED item is called, even if I'd like to have the first TOTAL item to be called (like putting numbers in the names of the item to call them whatsoever).
Is there any way I can achieve that?
or is it a feature that changed in some later version (I'm no longer in date with some plug-ins - sorry)
Maybe some other folks had trouble with the scrolling menus that where similar but didn't guess what was happening (I debuged for hours to understand why it would not call the items - if I have only 1 item displayed, 2 does not call anything...)
Please keep me updated about it. Thanks.

Ok, I installed 1.6.0a
still it does the same thing... let's say I have only 2 items on the scrolling menu that have a total of 5 items, I can only press 1 or 2, as 3-4-5 will not be called. If I scroll down to see items 2-3 pressing 1 would start up the item number 2 (first displayed).
Now the process I'd like to have would be I press 1, the first item of the list, either displayed or not, is started, and at 5 the 5th is started.
this could be some kind of preprogrammed key... can we configure some keys, or is there any way to manage to choose between number of displayed / number of total ????
I just cannot seam to find how.
thanks a lot!

if we could somehow manage to specify keys that would end up being able to call the menu item it would be great...
- just a suggestion.
