Hi all,
I have recently received and installed a UIRT2 from Luc, and for some reason I can't get it to transmit IR,
I would appreciate any suggestions to help me diagnose my problem, not sure if it the UIRT2 unit, are these thing test before they leave Luc,

the IR receiver seem to be working i can learn a IR code, but when I press the test button to test the previously learnt code nothing seems to happen, well I say nothing, if i put a volt meter on the wires that connect to the IR emitters, I get a 1volt reading, would this be correct, or should it be more?

I have use the test program as described be someone on this group and the UIRT2 came back with the results he specified

It would be nice if some one could give me some thing to try, because at the moment its just a pile of scrap,

Thanks

Steve Morris

Steve,

Double check you have the emitters wired correctly. Go here for the info.

Specs on the emitters. http://www.vishay.com/document/81010/81010.pdf
It looks like the typical voltage is 1.35, so you are probably ok.
