Questions about muting.

Hi didn't have much time to figure this one out yesterday but i knew it is possible. Here it comes:

Howto mute a channel


Select the Mute control of the channel you want to mute, press ok
Now comes the trick, change the actiontype to Volume change
To unmute this channel enter -1 in Step size
To mute this channel enter 1 in step size (you can put this in 2 different command of course)

Is there a way to unmute an audio channel, which ever state it is in?
I have found that a channel can be muted my selecting the channels mute id, but using 'volume change' and setting the step size to 1.
Alernativly is there a way of determaning the state of a channels mute setting.

If not, don't worry about trying to implement either of these Ron, its not very important and I doubt that many people would have a use for them.

Ah, Thanks Ron, I should have thought of trying the -1.

If anyone's interested, I need this becuase my stupid TV card drivers don't mute the white noise from the TV card when I boot up which can be really annoying.
