Girder 3.2.6 pre 6 introduces the BGR filetype. This is intended as a FAST loading filetype that is NOT compatible across Girder versions. The primary application will be on production machines that are not changing anymore.
That means when you upgrade to a new Girder version you WILL need to have the .GML file. This is mentioned in the readme, so if you forget this don't come whining at my door :-)
Give it a try, you'll love the speedup.

I've tried the new format and I like the speed
:)
I think I found a little bug while openenig such files: when I've already something loaded (.gml or .bgr) and select "Open" from the File menu and select a .bgr file it appends at the end of the command tree. After this if a make a few clicks in the old part of the tree very strange things happen - commands change their type (multi-group, group, command) their enabled state and after a while I end up with "Access violation....".
I noticed that if close the UI and show it again everything is OK
I hope that my explaination was clear enough and will help fixing the problem
