If you want to change the resolution of the desktop (or any other of the great features) you should make a profile of it in Powerstrip and then make girder call it with these settings:
Action: Execute
File: Path+filename to powerstrip
Stepsize: /p:MyProfile
Replace the name MyProfile with the name that you chose.

You can find Powerstrip here:

2nd method of controlling Powerstrip:
First assign a keyboard shortcut to the function in Powerstrip you want to run from Girder.
Now open the sendmessage plugin in Girder and enter the following values:
Message Number 1334
wParam
0 for Ctrl-Alt
1 for Ctrl-Shift
2 for Win-Shift
lParam is the scancode of the key you selected:
A (ASCII=65), scancode 30
B (ASCII=66), scancode 48
C (ASCII=67), scancode 46
D (ASCII=68), scancode 32
E (ASCII=69), scancode 18
F (ASCII=70), scancode 33
G (ASCII=71), scancode 34
H (ASCII=72), scancode 35
I (ASCII=73), scancode 23
J (ASCII=74), scancode 36
K (ASCII=75), scancode 37
L (ASCII=76), scancode 38
M (ASCII=77), scancode 50
N (ASCII=78), scancode 49
O (ASCII=79), scancode 24
P (ASCII=80), scancode 25
Q (ASCII=81), scancode 16
R (ASCII=82), scancode 19
S (ASCII=83), scancode 31
T (ASCII=84), scancode 20
U (ASCII=85), scancode 22
V (ASCII=86), scancode 47
W (ASCII=87), scancode 17
X (ASCII=88), scancode 45
Y (ASCII=89), scancode 21
Z (ASCII=90), scancode 44
Last but not least set the targetting!
Classname: TPShidden
Executable: PStrip.exe
Check both checkboxes and fill in those values. Also check "match invisible targets"
Thus for example:
Ctrl-Shift -O would be
Message number: 1334
wParam: 1
lParam: 24
Have fun!
